I have been helping clients optimize their blood work from a nutritional perspective for many years now. Let me preface this by saying that I am giving general recommendations for nutrition only; please do not use this information as a replacement for recommendations from your doctor- I recommend a functional medicine doctor or naturopathic doctor for your own specific blood work recommendations. It’s also important to know that each biomarker is just one piece of a much bigger puzzle, and a trained professional can help you understand why some numbers might be out of range, and help you understand things you won’t understand by just isolating single labs. I’m giving you these general recommendations though, just so you can be aware of how important some of these labs are and have a general idea of what optimal ranges are.

You are amongst a very small percentage of the population who is willing to put work in on themselves like this. It’s crucial that you give yourself credit, and do it often, because it serves as a software update to your subconscious mind so it knows where you’re actually at. This will help your self-image stay updated with the work you’re putting in. It’s very common for our self-image to lag behind where we actually are when we are engaged in a growth journey. If we don’t proactively see ourselves and how far we’ve come, we will start to self-sabotage, because our own self-image hasn’t caught up to the level of awareness we’ve attained.
